"Visual C++" was a textbook about Microsoft Visual C++ and the Microsoft Foundation Classes. Originally written for MS-C 7.0, the book has been adapted to the integrated development environment of Visual C++ 1.0.

"Visual C++" was the first book of its kind in german. Due to its early release date, it helped numerous readers to start with Visual C++ programming and to master the Microsoft Foundation Classes. "Visual C++" has been replaced in 1993 by the second edition called "Visual C++ 1.5".
