In July 2000, I bought my first SLR, a Nikon F80. Since then, I've been shooting almost every day, and photography has become an integral part of my life. I bought more cameras and more lenses and a whole bunch of other photographic stuff. In 2002, I moved to digital photography. My interest switched from the "hardware" to the "software" side of photography. I'm still fascinated by camera technology, but the understanding of image composition and the qualities of light are much more important to me these days.

I'm a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography, and was a frequent contributor and occasional winner of the Digital Photo Contest - which unfortunately is no longer alive.

On this page, you'll find a small collection of photographs I made. The compilation is neither complete nor representative, but it might give you an impression of my early work.
