Car Fire on George Washington Parkway

On my way to Alexandria this morning, I ran into a car accident on George Washington Memorial Parkway. During heavy rains, a red Ferrari (!) hit Teddy Roosevelt Bridge and caught fire:

I came just right. Traffic was slow, but not totally jammed-up. The accident must have happened just minutes before. I had my new E-M1 on the passenger seat  and could grab it to take a few pictures through the windshield. The M1 was not really in the right mode, so I only turned the wheel to "A" and hoped for the best. The guy in the car behind me got totally mad, but I thought, "come on, this is my job". After he passed by, I recognized it was a "she" ;-)
